The importance of design, in the plan of actions in the conception of this magazine, is presented as a conception of language. It not only describes but also creates realities.

São Roque o Faial is a picturesque place. Worthy of a painting, which draws attention due to the particular distinction of its landscape.

When we were creating this magazine, the main concept was defined as the use of large images, and text over the image, wanting to provoke and challenge the reader, to read and look at the landscape.

Another approach to highlight in the application of this design was the excessive size of the letters in the transition between chapters, which contrasts with the landscape backgrounds.

It is not another distinction, it is a call to reality. This contrast challenges the page in the same way that the road that takes us there challenges the mountain.

In this way, the applied design is in relationship with the space. Creates a sustainable, accessible and appropriate presentation, highlighting and associating what is important, the text and the image, arranging it in a way that creates aesthetic and recognizable ideals.
